The National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) today welcomed the renewal of the mandate of the Independent Expert on Human Rights Situation in Somalia and the approval of new mandate holder for Somalia in the Review, Rationalization and Improvement of Mandate of Independent Expert on Situation of Human Rights in Somalia.
NUSOJ has released a report on the new media law that was passed by Somalia’s Transitional Federal Parliament on 8 December 2007.
