Journalists in Mogadishu demonstrated and demanded yesterday, 28 December 2008, the “End of the War against Media” as the National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) released its 2008 Annual Report of Press Freedom Violations. Demonstrating journalists were announcing that “Violations of Media Freedom are Crimes against Humanity”. The Journalists asked warring parts to “Respect for Journalists Rights”.
